I have the wide slideshow on my homepage. What size should I make the photos?
- Each slide has two images - one for viewing on a larger monitor such as on a laptop and one for viewing on a smaller device like a phone or tablet.
- The first image placeholder is for the larger displays and the image must be 2200px wide by 600px high.
- The second image placeholder is for the smaller displays. The image must be 600px wide by 500px.

How should I use the Basic List Page template?
You can switch between the "Centered Slideshow" and the "Wide Slideshow" homepage templates, and there are several different page templates, but you can't use other Weebly site themes. If you do switch to another Weebly site theme then HOST support will not be able to directly support your web site. Please talk to HOST before consider switching site themes, there may be something we can do to help find what you need.
Can I switch templates or themes?
The Basic List Page template is best for displaying lists such as FAQs or staff information. In order to get the expanding and collapsing accordion affect, the content needs to be laid out using these Weebly widgets in this order:

How do I make a link?
Hover over the text you want to link. Select the link icon. A link dialog box will appear.

How do I make a short URL?
Select "Settings" in the blue menu bar at the top of the edit screen. Choose SEO, at the bottom of the page, there is a section to create shortucut URLs called "301 Redirects." Under "Old URL," click on "Add Redirect." Enter your new shortcut URL in the first column and then in the second column, select which page it should go to. For example, if you want "/donate" to be your shortcut URL to your "Support Us" page, enter "/donate" in the first columns and select "Support Us" in the second column. Click "Save."
What size pictures should I choose for the Support Us page?
A picture that is 600px wide by 429px wide works best.
Do these photos really have to be these sizes? My Hillel doesn't have Photoshop.
The site has been designed to use these image sizes and it will look it's best using the above image sizes. Some pages, like the homepage edge-to-edge slideshow, have strict photo size requirement. I checked the site on my phone and it looks different than it does on my laptop. What is going on?
The site has been designed to work well on both smaller displays such as on mobile devices and when viewed on full size displays like on a laptop. A layout that works for a full size screen may not work on a phone, so the layout will change.
